- Almost everyone attended this rehearsal as we had agreed that we would regularly have rehearsals following the end of the performer's Stylist Awareness lecture.
- The producers had agreed to attend these sessions.
- This rehearsal we saw one producer however the other still did not attend without any notice.
What we planned
We aimed to show the producer the ideas we had came up with, get their opinion and base where we go with the song around that. We also aimed to get a structure down.
Result
We all had a lot of varied ideas for the song and we could only get the opinion off one producer as there was only one present and the other one was not getting back to our messages. We were split between swing or funk and decided on swing for the time being. We created a rough idea for an intro and and an outro however we haven't changed the original song too much at this point
My verdict
Although I am still yet to meet one of my producers I feel like we are making progress as a band and the song is coming along nicely. More work is needed however I feel the intro and outro are fairly strong
